Our Story
WELCOME FLOWER LOVERS!
Our mission is to cultivate beauty, joy and community on our farm; one bouquet one experience and one gift at a time.
Bringing the joy and love of flowers and on-farm experiences to our community, along with finding unique gifts at our on-farm shoppe, is important to us. Our small farm is situated in the foothills of the Smokies, near Knoxville, Tennessee. The beauty of this region is breathtaking. Our property is on 15.5 acres, whereby we are currently growing our blooms on a 1/2 acre of land. We specialize in locally grown, seasonal flowers, nurtured with love from seed to bloom, sustainably grown and always fresh. Our Dahlias are lusciously gorgeous and we strongly encourage you to come and join us at the farm for u-pick events in late summer, fall and winter, and so much more.
Also, come and check-out our on-farm shoppe, where you can purchase market bouquets of mixed flowers and gifts from the region/USA.
Come and enjoy a good cup of coffee or perhaps some fresh herbal tea? We will be serving lavender lemonade during lavender season. Come and check us out!
In 2016 we purchased 15.5 acres with assorted buildings on it, including a 150 year old barn. Of course the old barn was invaded by swallows and other wildlife, and so in honor of the birds we evicted to other buildings, we decided to call the farm SWALLOWS REST. Over the next 8 years we took it to the ground and rebuilt it into our home, keeping all the aged wood and beams that were present. Now it is time to move outdoors. So to fulfill my wife’s dreams, we are growing flowers. She is passionate about Dahlias, and all sorts of old cottage varieties of blooms. Of course lavender is found around the back, and we are constantly adding beds to hold her new collections.
Of course flowers is only the beginning, Her husband specializes in fine finished furniture, and creating art in a fully equipped blacksmith shop.

Come and pick up a bouquet or mason jar of fresh blooms. Of course you may want to spend a little more time browsing the local Tennessee artist creations on display for purchase.
Pick-Your-Own-Dahlias
On sunday evenings, during late summer and fall, join us in the field for the most spectacular display of color, shape and size. Clippers will be available. You can enjoy a few hours in the dusk selecting the blooms. The problem will be in selecting which
Pumpkin Decorating Workshop
We will be decorating pumpkins with everlasting flowers, greenery and such.
Wreath Making Workshop
We will be creating our own wreaths with everlasting flowers and more. Holiday theme decorating will be available on request. Fall or Christmas?
Lavender Picking
In early summer, the lavender is ready for picking. Come and enjoy the heavenly heady fragrance that almost overpowers your visit.
