Our Story
WELCOME FLOWER LOVERS!
at LILI’S FIELD OF BLOOMS
Our mission is to cultivate beauty, joy and community on our farm; one bouquet one experience and one gift at a time.
Bringing the joy and love of flowers and on-farm experiences to our community, along with finding unique gifts at our on-farm shoppe, is important to us. Our small farm is situated in the foothills of the Smokies, near Knoxville, Tennessee. The beauty of this region is breathtaking. Our property is on 15.5 acres, whereby we are currently growing our blooms on a 1/2 acre of land. We specialize in locally grown, seasonal flowers, nurtured with love from seed to bloom, sustainably grown and always fresh. Our Dahlias are lusciously gorgeous and we strongly encourage you to come and join us at the farm for u-pick events in late summer and fall, and so much more.
Also, come and check-out our on-farm shoppe, where you can purchase market bouquets of mixed flowers and gifts from the region/USA.

In 2016 we purchased 15.5 acres with assorted buildings on it, including a 150 year old barn. Of course, the old barn was invaded by swallows and other wildlife, and so in honor of the birds we evicted to other buildings, we decided to call the farm SWALLOWS REST. Over the next 8 years we took it to the ground and rebuilt it into our home, keeping all the aged wood and beams that were present. Now it is time to move outdoors. So to fulfill my wife’s dreams, we are growing flowers. She is passionate about Dahlias, and all sorts of old cottage varieties of blooms. Of course lavender is found around the back, and we are constantly adding beds to hold her new collections.
Of course, flowers at Lili’s Field of Blooms is only the beginning. Her husband specializes in fine finished furniture, and creating art in a fully equipped blacksmith shop.

Pick-Your-Own-Dahlias
Thursday, October 1. The season will soon be over- a killer frost is coming in a few weeks, so if you have planned on coming out, time is short. Also, we will be closed this Sunday as we are attending a craft fair downtown near Sequoia Hills on Kingston Pike. - Even in the Rain!
Thursday, September 17. Since the days are getting shorter, the pick times will now be from 5 PM. to 7 PM. The hot days have slowed the dahlias, but there still a plethora of beauty to pick from. Beat the coming frost and head on over!
Wednesday, Aug. 5 - It was sad not to have visitors today. As a result, we had to pick and discard the dahlias pictured on the left. We will let them re-bloom and hope to see you this Sunday!
August 4, 2026. Come on over this Wednesday (tomorrow). Even though bad weather and heat affected our Dahlia’s and they are slow to bloom, we have some spectacular ones ready. Of course, we will be open on Sundays also. Come from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Join us in the field for the most spectacular display of color, shape and size. Clippers will be available. You can enjoy a few hours in the dusk selecting the blooms. The problem will be in selecting which ones! Bring your own container or mason jars will be available for sale. Flowers will be sold by the stem. Cash, check (made out to “Lili’s Field Of Blooms), credit card are accepted. Please wear closed shoes, no sandals. No pets, please. Call to register as only 25 people can visit per evening (865 755 9653). We hope to see you soon!
Pumpkin Decorating Workshop
We will be decorating pumpkins with everlasting flowers, greenery and such.
Wreath Making Workshop
We will be creating our own wreaths with everlasting flowers and more. Holiday theme decorating will be available on request. Fall or Christmas?
Lavender Picking
In late spring, the lavender is ready for picking. Come and enjoy the heavenly heady fragrance that almost overpowers your visit. In fact, it is ready now. Please call for an appointment to stop by. Lavender flowers and foliage are aromatic and touted for their “super” powers to reduce stress, anxiety, and promote a sense of calm.
